COURSE REGISTRATION
The course service is guaranteed on the specified date at the time of ordering. Reservations are personal and non-transferable.

Assignment to a level is based on the child's age, abilities, and the teacher's assessment.

Courses are bilingual (French-English), so you can enroll in any session, and the teacher will adapt the class to the preferred language of the parent.

Any reservation made through any means (online, by phone, by email) does not constitute registration; payment is the determining factor.

Courses operate in periods of 6 classes; refer to the calendar for exact dates. You can join in the middle of a period as classes are personalized.

By enrolling, parents confirm that their child(ren) are in good physical condition and do not suffer from any medical condition (or other) that would prevent them from safely participating in swimming. Parents also acknowledge that the health and safety of their child(ren) are their own responsibility.

In case of doubt, a medical check may be required to certify the ability to engage in intensive physical activity or at least activity suitable for their condition.

2. PAYMENT
Full payment must be made before the first class. Partial payment is not accepted. The effective selling price is the one in force at the time of the order, all prices are in Swiss Francs.

By making the payment, you accept the terms and conditions as well as the time and date of the lesson for the entire duration of the course.

SWIMI may modify its rates, rules, general conditions, and other contractual documents at any time. Changes will be communicated by email or on the website.

SWIMI is not bound by any erroneous data or other typographical errors on its website.
3. TRIAL CLASS
There are no trial classes. However, if you are not satisfied after the first class, we will refund the remaining classes you have purchased.

4. CANCELING AND REPLACING A CLASS
If unable to attend a class for any reason (vacation, illness, etc.), you can cancel directly at least 24 hours before on your customer account and receive 1 credit for use during your current period. If course credits are not used during the purchased course period, they are forfeited.
To replace a missed lesson, the online calendar displays availability for the next 7 days. Check the calendar weekly to find a suitable time slot; we cannot guarantee a slot that suits you.

5. LATE ARRIVAL TO CLASS
No compensation is provided for any delay in any form.

6. LONG-TERM ABSENCE
If you have a medical certificate for at least one month, email it to in@swimi.ch. We will provide course credits for remaining classes after receiving the medical certificate. These credits can be used during the year; contact us by phone at 078 264 44 63 (WhatsApp). The right to course credits only applies to classes following the date of receipt of the medical certificate by SWIMI.

7. PERIODIC ABSENCE
As stated in point 3, cancel classes yourself at least 24 hours in advance on your customer account to benefit from a course credit. If your child falls ill less than 24 hours before the class, unfortunately, we cannot refund or provide credit for a replacement.

8. MODIFICATION OF CLASS SCHEDULES
SWIMI reserves the right to modify class schedules. However, it is rare for the class time to change during a period. A course credit may be granted if the modification involves a change in the start time of the class by more or less than one hour. If the modification exceeds this limit, a refund for unused classes may be requested.

9. EXCEPTIONAL CLASS CANCELLATION
If the pool is closed due to technical problems or public health reasons, a course credit will be granted. However, there can be no refund.

10. PARENT ATTENDANCE IN CLASS AND RESPONSIBILITY
A parent must be present during classes in the water with the child. The child remains under their responsibility. The class starts at the specified time on the reservation, meaning the parent and child should be ready to enter the pool at that time. Parents and their children must wear sandals to avoid slipping.
Students must have individual insurance (accident and civil liability) to participate in swimming classes. Parents commit to having such coverage from the start of the classes, both for the child and the parent present in the water.
Children are under the educational responsibility of the instructor only in the water, from the beginning to the end of each class, and not before or after the activity. The swimming school cannot be held responsible for anything before or after the classes, even within the facility.
SWIMI disclaims all responsibility for the theft of belongings inside the changing rooms or around the pool.

11. MEDIATION CLAUSE
In case of dispute, the parties agree that, before initiating legal proceedings, they will attempt to resolve it through mediation, with the help of a mediator.

12. LEGAL JURISDICTION
Only Swiss law is applicable to this contract. Any dispute regarding this contract is subject to the jurisdiction of Lausanne.

13. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
Unless legally required, user's personal data is treated confidentially. SWIMI reserves the right to use data for statistical and marketing purposes. However, no user's photograph will be published without their express prior consent. Parents are not allowed to film or photograph classes without prior written consent.
The use of surveillance camera images is reserved for security purposes and in case of disputes.
